今年暑假期間，校友會成功舉辦了兩場電影欣賞會包場活動，分別是《手卷煙》和《濁水漂流》。活動分別邀請了兩位同是英華畢業的新進導演 (陳健朗和李俊碩) 出席做分享，由於得到校友們的熱烈支持，活動非常成功。

最近準備新上畫的《梅艷芳》電影，是由梁樂民大導演執導，亦同樣是英華仔。電影影評口碑極好，萬眾期待。所以，校友會再接再厲準備於11月19日(星期五)晚上舉辦包場電影欣賞會，誠意邀請各位英華校友出席。

Dear members,

Ying Wa College (“YWC”) will start open recruitment of Secondary 1 students for the year 2022/23 from 1st November 2021 to 13th November 2021. I am glad to inform you that the Association has liaised with YWC to render assistance to Ying Wa Old Boys who wish their sons to be admitted to Secondary 1 of YWC subject to the following conditions :-

1) The father of the son(s), must be a paid-up member of the Association for the past two years  (i.e. full 24 months counting back from the date of the deadline stated below).
2) The conduct of his son(s) must not be poor in his (their) present school(s).
3) The candidates should meet the required standard set by YWC.

If your son is interested to apply for a Secondary 1 place in YWC, you must complete and submit the Application Form directly to YWC. Application forms can be obtained in one of the following ways:

(1)From the school website – forms can be download from http://www.yingwa.edu.hk ;
(2)In person – forms can be obtained from YWC between 1st – 13th November 2021 at the following times:

Monday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon

If you wish the Association to render assistance, please submit the soft copies of the Application Form, P4 school report (final term only), and P5 school reports (all year) in PDF format to the Convenor for Student Affairs via Ms Cherry Tsui through email tyf@yingwa.edu.hk on or before Saturday, the 13th November 2021.

Dear Fellows,

YWCOBA ICT Interest Group and Financial Chapter join hands to host a dinner gathering on 13th October 2021 (Wed) for members who are interested in the latest development of Blockchain and Virtual Asset as well as  their applications in different fields. 

Ying Wa fellow Louis Tse (1988), who has been well exposed to the financial services / fintech sectors, will act as moderator to discuss with two guest panelists Rico Tang (Senior Manager, FinTech Cluster of Cyberport Hong Kong) and Simon Au Yeung (Head of Strategic Initiatives of HashKey Group) about the above said emerging technologies.
