【利是封】收利是的通常較著眼於利是的「內涵」， 但派利是者則希望利是有內涵之餘，「外表」也可以特别一些、吸引一些，在佳節團聚時製造話題，更添喜慶。繼年前「英華」利是封大受歡迎之後，校友會今年再接再厲，再推出利是封🧧，不但火速售罄，而且更獲校友一致好評！日前很多校友已經順利收到了。👏🏻👏🏻這個别緻的利是封叫好叫座，得力於籌委小組的心思、安排及努力，功不可沒🥂
祝願牛年會為大家帶來新氣象，疫情也快些過去，好讓在校的師弟們，可以盡快回復正常的校園生活，精采更勝我們往日在校的時光！

【迎金牛·表心意】踢走疫鼠，喜迎金牛新希望！新春佳節即將來到，喺呢個喜氣洋洋嘅傳統節日，與往年一樣，今年王文錦會長與校友會繼續向書院和小學每天栽培我們小師弟嘅老師、支援學校日常運作嘅職員及工友等表達謝意。因疫情關係，花過一番心思後，特別精選賀年禮品🎁敬贈予兩間學校嘅教職員同工。物雖輕，情卻重，飲水思源，藉此新歲，校友會謹代表所有「英華仔」向所有校內同工聊表點點心意。😊金牛開運，「英華」一家，新春臨近，校友會同人在此預祝所有英華仔、英華人龍馬精神、心想事成！

“鑄造西式中文活字的先驅者，是英國倫敦傳道會傳教士戴爾。戴爾先在一八二八年前往馬六甲的英華書院籌備鑄字，其生產正式在一八三五年展開。一八四三年，戴爾客死異鄉，同年英華書院連同其印刷設備、字模字粒遷至香港。”
“受益於香港字，英華書院校長理雅各出版《中國經典》，德國漢學家羅存德排印香港第一本兩文三語的《英華字典》，王韜創辦世上首家華資中文日報《循環日報》，數之不盡的重要刊物得以誕生，推進中國現代化進程。而翻鑄出售的活字，不但出售到全中國，更廣及世界各地，促進中西文化交流。”

Please be informed that the YWCOBA Annual General Meeting 2020 will be held at 7:00pm on 19th November, 2020 (Thursday) in the Multi-purpose Room at the Swimming Pool Complex, Ying Wa College. Enclosed please find the AGM Agenda and the Proxy Form for your perusal.

In case you are not able to attend the upcoming AGM, you can complete the Proxy Form and mail the signed original to Ying Wa College.

Dear Members,
Ying Wa College (“YWC”) will start open recruitment of Secondary 1 students for the year 2021/22 from 2nd November 2020 to 14th November 2020. Ying Wa College Old Boys’ Association (“YWCOBA”) has liaised with YWC to render assistance to Ying Wa Old Boys who wish their sons to be admitted to Secondary 1 of YWC subject to the following conditions:-
1) The father of the son(s), must be a paid-up member of YWCOBA for the past two years (i.e. full 24 months counting back from the application deadline statedIf ).
2) The conduct of his son(s) must not be poor in his (their) present school(s).
3) The candidates should meet the required standard set by the principal of YWC.
If you wish the Association to render assistance, please follow YWC’s normal application procedures and submit the soft copies of the Application Form, P4 school report (final term only), and P5 school reports (all year) in PDF format to the Convenor for Student Affairs via Ms. Cherry Tsui through email tyf@yingwa.edu.hk on or before 14th November 2020 (Saturday).
