You’re cordially invited to join YWCOBA Monthly Happy Hour Gathering specially organized for Ying Wa boys and friends at all ages to network in relaxing environments.  Let’s have an enjoyable night with old friends and new faces!!

Date: 4th April 2019, Thursday (6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, and beyond)

Venue: Grappa’s Cellar (Central) Basement 1, Jardine House, 1 Connaught Place, Central, Hong Kong.

Drinks arrangement: OBA Member $150 per head, Non-Member $180 per head

Two drinks coupons (for house wine/beer/soft drinks with nibbles and snacks for sharing.) 

We are dedicated this Happy Hour to all young alumni especially graduated after year 2000.

英華行在上星期六於北潭涌順利舉行，校友及家人藉此機會與英華師生一同郊遊。今次英華行加入了新的定向元素，讓參加者體驗不一樣的郊遊樂。

英華行是由「英華教育基金」連同書院及小學、兩學部的家長教師會、以及校友會舉辦年度步行籌款活動，藉此聯繫感情和籌募經費。讓學校可以在教學上增加資源和資助課外活動，令更多嘅英華仔受惠，希望各位校友繼續支持教育基金的活動。

校友會春茗於2月21日完滿舉行。多謝書院和小學校長們、教職員代表、在校的游泳隊及西樂團成員代表以及一眾師兄弟踴躍出席。

當中更有特別嘉賓 – 英華小學侯任校長！

昨晚氣氛非常開心，而皕載校慶特別版首日封套摺拍賣環節更將全場情緒推至最高漲！

「英華教育基金」由校友會於2012年成立，結合校友、學校、校董會及家長教師會等多方面的資源力量，籌募經費，讓學校可以在教學上增加資源，以便不同水平的同學最終也能維持優良的學業成績。英華書院及小學轉為「直資」學校後，財政需自負盈虧，亦須儲備資金，為學校未來多方面的發展需要作出準備。有見及此，「英華教育基金」特連同書院及小學、兩學部的家長教師會，以及校友會舉辦步行籌款活動，藉此籌募經費；是次活動已是第五年舉行，亦希望透過此活動能加深大家的情誼。現將步行籌款活動的詳情列下，敬請鼎力支持為盼。

簡介
英華書院由馬禮遜牧師和米憐牧師在馬六甲創辦，1818年11月11日奠基，以溝通中西文化、廣傳基督福音為宗旨；1843年遷至香港，是香港現存歷史最悠久的學校。英華書院除致力於傳道和教育外，還翻譯和印刷《聖經》，以及出版了多種中英文刊物，其中《遐邇貫珍》和《智環啟蒙塾課》更為亞洲人開啟認識西學的窗口，有助香港、中國、日本等地邁向現代化，故被史家稱譽為「亞洲第一學府」。英華書院的創立，實為華人教育史和文化交流史上的里程碑。時至今日，學校仍繼續傳道授業、榮神益人。
為慶祝學校立基二百年，一群校友經過三年多努力，編成了這冊校史──《皕載英華》，作為獻給母校的賀禮。
