2018 June Monthly Happy Hour Notice

Dear Alumni,

Please kindly note that there will be a happy hour gathering for Ying Wa boys and friends .

Date: 1st June 2018, Fri (6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, and beyond)
Venue: Grappa’s Cellar (Central) Basement 1, Jardine House, 1 Connaught Place, Central, Hong Kong.

Drinks arrangement: OBA Member $150 per head, Non-Member $180 per head

Two drinks coupons (for house wine/beer/soft drinks with nibbles and snacks for sharing.)

We aim to provide a regular casual gathering/networking occasion for old boys at all age groups and looking forward to seeing you all on Friday evening.

Whisky Class – Tour of Scotland Region 15 June 2018 (7:00pm-9:00pm)

Dear Alumni,

To those interest to know more about Whisky, we are organizing a private Scotch Whisky Appreciation Class for Ying Wa boys and friends.
 
Date: 15 June 2018(7:00pm-9:00pm) 
Venue: Seminar Room, New Mandarin Plaza, Tsim Sha Tsui East, exact venue to be advised to the participant
Fee: $450 per head (special discount for YWCOBA individual Member)
Total available Seat: 30 (on first come first serve based)
P.S. Dinner not included unfortunately

  • To understand the basic knowledge of Scotch Whisky including their Ingredients, types, production process and how we should appreciate Scotch Whisky;
  • To learn how to distinguish whisky flavors and aromas;

英華書院創校二百年音樂會

謹訂於2018年5月7日（星期一）假座香港文化中心音樂廳舉行音樂會。是晚分別由中、小學合唱團、中樂團、管弦樂團、校友會中樂團及校友合唱團擔任演出。壓軸節目為《英華皕載歌》大合唱。此新譜頌歌，由前副校長陳耀南教授作詞、校友盧厚敏博士作曲，並由全體表演者以及英華女學校參與演出，以誌頌讚之忱，盼望帶給各位一個難忘的晚上。

預訂音樂會門卷日期已推遲至本週五(四月二十日)。如欲欣賞音樂會者請填妥表格，於本週五前交回學校辦事處。

The passing of our beloved alumnus and teacher : 張雲槎老師

  • The Association records with profound sorrow on the passing of our beloved alumnus and teacher, 張雲槎老師, who served Ying Wa during the 1960s.

For members information, a Celebration of Life and Cremation will be held as follows:

Date : 27 May 2018, Sunday
Time : 3:00 pm
Place : Hop Yat Church
2 Bonham Road
Hong Kong

Cremation is scheduled at 5:30 pm at Cape Collinson.

2018 旺旺福來迎新歲相簿及短片分享

非常感謝老師們和校友撥冗參加3月10日的新春盆菜宴，當中包括多位已經退休的恩師，特意前來敘舊和緬懷一番。

自從15年前書院遷到英華街後，不少師生也偶有經過牛津道舊校舍。今次能夠重踏這個校園內，往日一片片的回憶再次湧進大家腦海裏。

校歌序樂開始，近五百校友自動站立安靜下來，高聲頌唱，Ying Wa Cry 更再度響片整個校舍。

感謝中樂團的精彩表演助興。也感謝基華小學借出場地，令這次活動得以成功舉辦。
