Sports Update – February 2014

Fencing

Our boys won the 2nd runners-up in Sabre in the inter-school fencing (team) competition on 23/2 and ranked 7th in overall result.

Moreover, Law Shiu Chung won the individual champion in Épée (B Grade).

Rugby Sevens

Our B grade boys won the 1st runners-up in the Rugby sevens.

Athletic

Our boys won the overall champion in the Inter-school athletic (Div 3 Area 4) in Wan Chai Sports ground on 19/2/2014. So, we will return to Div 2 in the next year.

Basketball

Our B grade basketball team won the 1st runner up.

英華書院校友會–「春季有機農莊大自然之旅」

各位親愛的校友：

校友會將於本年春季為會員準備一項遊覽活動。　活動將於3月9日 (星期日)舉行，名為「春季有機農莊大自然之旅」，歡迎各位校友會員與親戚朋友一同參加。

集合時間 / 地點:    上午9時正(逾時不候) / 英華書院
解散時間 / 地點    約下午4時/英華書院
行程

  • 於英華書院集合,
  • 乘車前往沙頭角有機農莊,
  • 參觀農莊,
  • 客家盆菜午餐,
  • 午餐後專人教導自製和品嚐客家茶棵,
  • 驗體有機種植,
  • 參觀有機及自然種植場，可即時購買合時有機農作物
  • 於英華書院解散

團費費用    每位$168 (大小同價)。由於名額有限，請從速報名，額滿即止。

英華復校100周年(2014/2/9)

英華書院於1818年創立於馬六甲，並於1843年遷港，但其後經歷過停辦階段。幸得教㑹及倫敦傳道會的協助，英華於1914年2月9日正式復校。
今天(2014/2/9)是英華復校100周年。願一衆英華人薪火相傳：篤信善行，榮神樹人。

Sports Update – Ying Wa College won the Champion of Bonaqua All HK Schools Jing Ying Handball Tournament 2013-2014

Our handball team won the champion of Jing Ying tournament today in Tseung Kwan O Sports Centre today.

We beat Yan Chai No.2 secondary school by 17:12.  This is the six champion title we get in this tournament.  Our player 陳子朗 was elected to be the MVP of the match.

Sports Update – Handball team entered the Final of Jing Ying Tournament一

Ying Wa College Handball Team beat DBS by 16:10 in the Semi-Final and has entered into the Final of the All Hong Kong Schools Jing-Ying Handball Tournament 2013-2014.

The Final will be played at 3:15 pm on January 26th (Sunday) at Tsueng Kwan O Sports Centre.  (將軍澳體育館 – 新界將軍澳新市鎮運隆路9號)
